What I Would Like to Gain from Being a Governor or Contribute to the School:

I don’t necessarily hope to gain anything more from being a governor, having over 15 years in the role in London and Newcastle. I believe I can contribute to the school from my experiences as a civil servant (budgetary control, ability to negotiate, intercede in disputes, support the Headteacher and Senior Management Team and staff). By attending courses, training sessions etc, my advice to the school should always be up-to-date and constructive.
